PB Drive

Build a drive to collect and distribute peanut butter to a local food bank.

Why Peanut Butter?

A little spreads a long way!

Most kids and adults like it, high in protein, a superfood (containing 30 essential vitamins and nutrients), and shelf-stable, making it one of the most popular items at food banks.

1. Take the Challenge

The first step is to commit to doing it. This takes some planning, legwork, and work.

Tip: Each jar is food for someone. No collection is too small.

2. Choose a Date

Decide a date you will collect donated jars and then write that on the blank line in the form - we recommend a week out from when you drop off your flyer.

  • Print out the flier
  • Make it personal by signing your name
  • Leave a window of time and date when you will pick up

    3. Spread Awareness

Hit the pavement with your adult comrade. Ride, bike, skate, or walk the neighborhood to deliver signed fliers to the homes you trust in your neighborhood.

    4. Collect Goods

With your adult comrade, collect the donated jars left out next to the donors' mailboxes. Leave a thank you note to let them know you appreciate their contribution.

    5. Drop Off

Once you collect all your jars, take an inventory to see what you collected. This is a great way to keep a tally for yourself so that you can set goals for next time and inform your neighborhood of their collective success. Send us a picture of your achievement!
Take collected jars to your local food bank or food pantry of choice.
