What does it mean to
Care Hard?
You could sum up that “Care Hard” means caring a lot.
Have you ever wondered if caring about yourself is an easy thing to do?
Do you spend a lot of your time taking good care of you?
The Right Mindset
Care Hard is like giving yourself (and others) a bear hug without giving an actual hug. Instead, actions and words are like a bear hug. What could be better than that feeling of safety and care that you get from a hug? It’s important to recognize that it is not always easy to feel that way about yourself.
We may feel up and down about ourselves and it might seem like sad feelings will never go away. Everyone feels sadness. That is actually healthy. Sometimes these feelings can turn into anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions where we need some special help. That’s ok, too.
Our values can influence our thoughts, feelings and actions and help us to develop a mindset to “care hard.” How does the value compassion influence your mindset about yourself?
